About Mera MacKendrick

Mera MacKendrick is a life-long (so far, at least) artist.

What began as a childhood hobby rapidly escalated into a full-blown obsession, swallowing her life whole. Armed with a Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology, she now wields a vast arsenal of cultural art knowledge, which often seeps into her work. Her creations, influenced by a mix of cultural themes, stories, and symbols, frequently take on a delightfully (albeit unintentionally) morbid twist.

Her artwork has been published in works by Neon Squid Books, Michael O’Mara Books and has appeared in various exhibitions.
